Emma is the Principal of County Vets in Ayrshire. Emma qualified from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Science in 2005 and has worked in mixed practice ever since. As the daughter of a local farmer, she has particular interest in large animal work and has developed her skills in these areas. As well as enjoying the routine and emergency farm work, Emma has a particular interest in the equine side of the practice where she does the stud work as well as routine dentistry and Pre-purchase exams.
As well as her veterinary work, helping out on the dairy farm at home and looking after her son Struan and daughter Anna, Emma also finds time to breed and show sporthorses with the intention of producing showjumpers.
