We run three surgeries a day at both Ayr and Maybole surgeries so can usually arrange to see your pet at a time convenient to you.
Yearly Vaccinations & Health Checks
It is essential to keep your pet vaccinated against the more serious infectious diseases. These yearly visits also provide you with the ideal opportunity to give your pet a routine MOT and discuss any concerns you may have.
Surgical Facilities
Routine surgeries – castrations, speys, lump removals etc. Emergency surgeries – Caesereans, wound repairs, gastric and bowel surgery etc.
Pet Travel
We have vets fully qualified to issue pet passports and complete animal exportation certification should you wish to travel abroad with your animal.
Imaging: Ultrasound & X-ray
State of the art digital X-ray equipment. Please see separate page on ‘Digital X-ray’ for full details. Small animal Ultrasound machine used regularly in many cases as part of in-depth diagnostic ‘work-ups’. It is also commonly used for pregnancy diagnosis. Brand new Video endoscopy equipment to look inside your animals to help diagnose and treat many diseases
Dentistry
80% of all dogs and cats over the age of 3 years will have some degree of dental disease. Early identification and treatment will help to prevent it’s progression. We can perform routine dental check-ups, extractions if required or just a quick scale and polish!
In House Laboratory
State of the art equipment allow on-site testing of blood samples, urine samples, skin scrapes, ear swabs and fine-needle aspirates providing rapid diagnosis.
Comfortable Kennelling Area
We have new, modern kennelling facilities so should your pet be required to stay overnight, they will be warm and comfortable.
24 Hour Emergency Cover
We provide all of our own out-of-hours cover at our surgeries in Maybole AND Ayr with our own vets.
