Emer has worked at County Vets from its very start in 2012. She graduated from University College Dublin and came to Scotland with full intentions of only spending a year at most here. Sixteen years later….Emer is married to a local dairy farmer and they welcomed a baby boy in January who is keeping them on their toes. Emer particularly favours the farm calls as she’s a big fan of being outdoors but also loves the diversity of work that mixed practice brings and gets great satisfaction from helping people and their pets to achieve the best outcomes possible. Emer is currently enjoying her maternity leave with baby Robert and her four dogs – long walks, longer lunches and a little bit of simultaneous calf and baby feeding are keeping her busy.
